The cocktail shakers have settled, the glasses have been raised, and the winners of the Bartenders Competition at the much-anticipated In-Drinks 2024 event have been unveiled. Held on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th March at the SEC Glasgow, this competition displayed skill, creativity, and passion for mixology.

In-Drinks joined forces with Hoxton Spirits, HIT Scotland and the esteemed UK Bartenders Guild to curate a competition that would not only test the mettle of the participants but also push the boundaries of beverage craftsmanship. This collaboration signalled a monumental moment in the world of mixology, setting the stage for innovation and excellence.

The stakes were high, with the champion not only vying for the coveted title of In-Drinks Bartender of the Year but also eyeing a substantial £1,000 prize courtesy of Hoxton Spirits. Additionally, the winner would be bestowed with a tailor-made HIT Scotland scholarship, designed to nurture and support their professional growth within the drinks industry.

After rounds of intense competition and meticulous judging, Grant Coffield from Tabac, emerged victorious, claiming the top spot and the esteemed title. Grant’s impeccable skills, creativity, and dedication to the craft clearly set him apart from the rest, making him a deserving recipient of this prestigious accolade.

Not far behind was Josh Cormack from August House, who showcased exceptional talent and flair throughout the competition. Cormack's impressive performance earned him the runner-up position, further solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the world of bartending.
